My work recalls a common childhood experience. When I was young I envisioned myself as a miniature person, a toy figure standing only a few inches tall. Items like pillows and radiators were transformed into massive geographical landmarks. As if attempting to explore the frontier, I could convert these man made objects into a vast, all-surrounding, natural landscape. I am now reliving and further developing that concept with my art.
