About Scott

Scott Hazard is a visual artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. His works are a meditation on land and the cultural lenses through which we perceive and experience nature and our environment. Silent Geography is a site-specific installation consisting of Hazard’s torn paper constructed landscapes. The entire gallery floor is covered with paper structures punctuated with masses of text to transform the space into an immersive garden.
