Sarah Awad was born in Pasadena and received an MFA from University of California, Los Angeles.
Her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows at James Harris Gallery in Seattle and 5790projects in Los Angeles, among others.
Awad has been featured in the Los Angeles Times and was the 2011 recipient of a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant.
