About Gina

Gina Kiel is an artist and illustrator based in Wellington City, New Zealand.

Her work was recently shortlisted for two Desktop Create Awards. She was one of 30 illustrators involved in ONE NIGHT ONLY on the subject of Success. She was also recently part of the 11Eleven Project launch exhibition in Sydney.

Kiel is represented by Sydney based Illustration agency The Drawing Book Studios.

"the face in the first picture is simply amazing and i really like the body art on both the neck and the hands, too!!! the blue color of the girls in both pictures makes the works even more interesting!!! i like the simplicity of the hari as well!!! greeat stuff!!! very very creative!!!"

"The tears in the first adds something as well as the hand markings in the second. But overall the works lacks human quality for me."

"simply marvelous,...my interpretation of this fine art work would be"lady justice".meaning how the justice system try to manipulate her by removing her blinding,she then drop a tear,but yet compelled herself to close her own eye's to be fair to all people."
