Yanni Floros received his BFA in sculpture from National Art School, Sydney, Australia in 2004.
He makes his hyper-realistic drawings of human figures and objects using exclusively charcoal. Floros describse the theme of his drawings, which he sees extending to his paintings and sculptures too, as human pursuits and how these impact on our development.
His work has been exhibited across Australia and he was shortlisted or the 2010 Dobell Drawing Prize and Lethbridge 10000 Prize.
