Georgina Kattou is an animator and moving image designer whose visual style incorporates quirky and whismsical illustrations to create fantastical worlds and journeys through them. Originally from Cyprus Georgina completed a BFA in Film & Digital Video in the US on a Fulbright scholarship. She enjoyed cinematography but had always been drawn to illustration and it seemed only natural to bring motion to her pictures. Completing her MA in Digital Film & Animation at London Metroplolitan University gave her the opportunity to do this while further exploring colour, movement and sound. Georgina is excited by the way music leads the direction in which her illustrations and animation evolve while working on a project, bringing out different sides of her own visual style.
