Yen-Ting Chung holds an MFA from Parsons The New School For Design, New York. Her fascination with characters and signs compels her to create mythical worlds through writing, drawing, sculpture, and animation. She depicts bizarre imaginations from everyday life and constructs fantastic poetic journeys. Sponsored by prestigious grants from Taiwan Ministry of Culture and Freeman Foundation, she attended artist residencies at LA’s 18th Street Arts Center and Vermont’s Vermont Studio Center. Her works have been showcased in New York’s Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, PULSE Art Fair, and A.I.R. Gallery. She recently finished a residency at NARS Foundation in New York and was invited to display her works by Taishin Bank Foundation for Arts and Culture.
