Luis Cornejo studied at the School of Fine Arts in Dresden, Germany, and at the School of Fine Arts at the University of El Salvador.
He has exhibited individually and collectively in Central America, The United States, Canada and Germany.
His work is part of the Collection of the Museum of Art of El Salvador and the Ortiz-Gurdián Collection.
To develop his work Cornejo uses pictures from magazines, the internet or friends fusing them with cartoons, comics and video game
characters, in order to create hybrids that vanish the diffuse boundary that now exists between the real and the imaginary, between the real and recreated.
