Patricia is a graduate of the Academie Arendonk and has participated in many exhibitions throughout Belgium and the Netherlands.
One of Patricia Derks’ main interests as an artist is the use of color. Her works, the result of hours of research before she picks up her brush, are often swiftly painted, always with an element of surprise. Her works play with opposites: light and dark colors, thick and thin textures, and her favorite medium is oil paint.
