Vania Comoretti was born in Udine (Italy) in 1975. She works and lives in Udine and Venice. After achieving a five-year schooling certificate in Applied Arts, she attended several courses in advertising graphics and in 2004 graduated in Restoration, Painting section, at the Venice School of Fine Arts (Italy). In 2005 she had a solo exhibition at the Villa Manin Centre for Contemporary Art (Passariano, Italy) and exhibited in an event within the 51st Venice Biennale (Italy). In 2006 Comoretti collaborated with Bompiani publishing house (Milan, Italy) and in 2007 won the first edition of the Saatchi Showdown competition (London, England). In year 2008 she was allotted an atelier by Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation (Venice, Italy), exhibited at the FBA Annual Exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters (London, England) and at the Saatchi Gallery (London, England).
