Comert was born in 1977 at Istanbul. His background and degree is in Graphic Design. His works are used by many advertising agencies like; Beyaz, Eti, Güzelsanatlar Saatchi & Saatchi and Metin Günay Film Production, just to name a few.
His paintings are often figurative in nature with focused high contrast lighting. The perspective is as if the viewer is peeking in on the subject, without their knowledge, in sometimes intimate situations. His color pallets are bold. Especially when juxtaposed against the many shadows on the outer edges of his paintings.
Comert’s illustration work is tighter in it’s rendering but still contains hints of the same use of color and lighting contrast.
