About Mark

Mark Posey earned a BA in history at UC Berkley and is currently pursuing an MFA at the Academy of Art.

His paintings are about the intricacies of human emotion, both external and internal, from the belief that these reveal the reality of human nature through its cracks, layers and distortion, exposing an honest sense of emotion that is often hidden.

My work is so inferior. These paintings are truly inspired and this artist is brilliant! I agree with the commentator: a true artist has been born.
