About Diana Beltran

Diana Herrera holds a BA in industrial design from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia. She gained her first work experience in Finland under the Faroese-Danish artist Hanni Bjartalid.

Her most recent series, Mathematics For Reality, is a formidable flock of birds made from many intricate layers of colorful and foil-enhanced paper.

Herrera regards herself as both an illustrator and an artist, but lately she focused exclusively on paper sculpture. Each of her works is hand-cut and assembled with a great care to detail.

Her work has been exhibited in Colombia and Denmark.
