André Wee is an illustrator and visual artist from Singapore. He is currently studying illustration at Rhode Island School of Design.
His latest series, Forming and fragmenting, depicts portraits that exist in an eternal state of flux. Whether these figures are in the process of construction or deconstruction is intentionally ambiguous and dependent on the interpretation of the viewer.
Wee is inspired by the idea of placing figures in a limbo of organic and geometric shapes, environments outside the established boundaries of reality.
