About Angie


Angie Hoffmeister is an artist and freelance illustrator who lives in Duesseldorf, Germany, where she studies in the Kunstakademie Duesseldorf.

She prefers a wide variety of mediums including watercolors, pencils, graphite, markers, acrylics and oil paints. She also makes etchings and ink drawings.

Angie draws from her experience in art school and is inspired by the city she calls home. Her first graphic novel, part two of the ‘Walled City Trilogy’, is due to be published at the end of the year.

I've never had an art piece make me feel so uneasy and disoriented.... Absolutely fantastic work! It's really hard to make a piece that gives a person so much feeling. I applaud you!
