Kyle Bean received a BFA with honours in illustration from University of Brighton in 2009.
He specializes in hand crafted models, set design and art direction and creates installations, window displays, editorial and advertising.
Most recently, he was invited to contribute to the next Handmade issue of Wallpaper magazine. A modest series of portraits made of coloured pencil shavings is the result.
His work has been exhibited in England and France. In 2009, one of his book jacket designs was shortlisted for a Penguin Design Award. His clients include Wallpaper, Financial Times, Diesel, Wired, New York Times, BBC, GQ Magazine, and Louis Vuitton.
